In Glee’s penultimate episode of it’s current season, the McKinley High singers are preparing for graduation, but before they can take part in their final ceremony in school, they have to first make their best attempt at winning Nationals.
In the episode that is set to air on May 15th on Fox and in the UK on Sky One two days later, to New Directions head off to the show choir championships, and in the pictures you can see the stunning red and black outfits, in which they will be dressed.
We aren’t sure the dresses really stand out and we’re sure we’ve seen similar styles on the show before, but as always the females look amazing in the figure hugging gowns.
After recently performing songs by The Wanted, Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston, for Nationals the performers will attack tracks by Celine Dion, Lady Gaga and the very current Niki Minaj.
It has been reported that soon to graduate Rachel Berry be the only solo performer of the episode, and will deliver a huge power ballad as only she can do, with a big assed rendition of “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now.”
Meanwhile, some of the other female singers – including Santana, Quinn and Brittany – will get in on the act for a second performance, bringing all their sass and attitude to Lady Gaga’s upbeat floor filler “The Edge of Glory.”
The whole group will then reform for a performance of Meatloaf’s “Paradise By The Dashboard Light,” which is sure to be nothing short of astounding.
Will they clinch the Nationals title for the first time yet? We hope so, as for some of the performers it will be their last attempt. Matthew Morrison revealed today that though Kurt, Finn and Rachel will be back after graduation – which takes place in the season finale – some of the other characters will not.
He also explained that the storylines leading up to their departure are incredibly impressive. You can read more of the interview here.
