A brand new featurette video for the forthcoming mid-season premiere of Glee has been unveiled.

In the new video, we get a behind-the-scenes look at ‘Frenemies’ whilst the cast and crew (mainly Adam Lambert and Chris Colfer) talk about what Frenemies means. Not only that, we also get a glimpse at Adam and Chris’ massive rock performance!

In the video, Chris Colfer who of course plays the role of Kurt says that Frenemies is about two very competitive friends (Rachel and Santana) and they kind of come to blows in the end.

We get to see a small scene in which Rachel says that her and Santana have only ever been friends due to the number they did when they graduated. Ohh burn!

“This episode, it’s just about exploring the relationship between all of the characters that are friends and hang out with each other, and have some drama,” Adam Lambert explains.

Elsewhere in the episode, Kurt and Starchild will perform a massive number in a guitar shop, and it’s going to be epic by all accounts.

However, in the midst of all the entertainment, Kurt is feeling a little jealous of Starchild as he is ridiculously talented and Kurt originally set the band up himself but he feels like Starchild is taking some of the spotlight away from him, so he doesn’t like him.

One rumour on the street is that Kurt is going to have a bit of a fling with Starchild, and one line from the featurette kind of makes us think that it could happen.

Colfer explains that Blaine told Kurt before he left for New York City that he was to keep his friends close, but his enemies closer, so naturally, he tries to keep as close to Starchild as he can, due to him being one of Kurt’s ‘enemies’. Could this turn into something else? Could being too close to Starchild go horribly wrong? Who knows…

Elsewhere on the mid-season premiere, Kurt and Starchild take a trip to a guitar shop as Kurt needs a new guitar. It’s in the shop that they perform the massive rock number ‘I Believe in a thing Called Love’, complete with a stripper pole.

Brad Falchuk, co-creator of Glee says that it’s been so much fun to have Adam and Chris work together in the same room.

“The show hasn’t ever really done a big rock song like this, but it’s fun,’ Chris adds.

Glee returns to FOX on Tuesday, February 25 at 8/7c.

@Queenrosered Dignity is a distant memory, life’s much more fun without it anyway. 🙂
