Glee’s Matthew Morrison says he is NOT dating Gwyneth Paltrow!

Matthew Morrison has denied rumours that he has been secretly dating Gwyneth Paltrow.

The hunky Glee star became friends with the Hollywood actress when she made a number of recurring cameo appearances as substitute teacher Holly Holiday on the hit US show.

They were recently pictured sharing a cosy dinner together Grosvenor House hotel in London, however Matt says he would never date another famous person.

He told Fabulous magazine:

“We are great friends and she’s an amazing talent. Having had several girlfriends, now I definitely know what I don’t want. I don’t want someone in the business.”

Morrison went on to admit that he doesn’t enjoy being a celebrity as much as he thought he would and confessed:

“I’d love to be normal again, but I know that’s not going to happen for the rest of my life.”

“I never wanted to be famous, just respected. I actually enjoyed the struggle to get where I am much more than I enjoy the success. ”

“I think there are a lot of people who think they want all this but, truly, having my picture taken was cool for about two weeks. I thought: ‘Yeah, this is awesome!’ But it wore off pretty quickly. I went from that to: ‘OK, now I’m done’.

“I’m not a hero in any sense. I’m such an average guy and I’m really quite boring when you get to know me – I’m a homebody.

“I’m just glad I lived out my fun days and craziness and wild times in my 20s in New York out of the limelight. I got to have a life before this. The kids on the show won’t have that.”

“Bringing someone into this life scares me. For an ordinary person to be thrust into hanging out with me and having their picture taken all the time is a big ask.

“I used to be very closed off to even looking for someone because I know what it takes to be a good boyfriend and don’t think I have the time. But right now I’m actually very open to it. I’m having such an incredible time in my life and I’d really love to share that with someone and have somebody to talk about my day with. You never know who’s round the corner.”
