Glee’s Matthew Morrison to support Backstreet Boys on tour
Matthew Morrison has revealed that he will perform as support act at a number of dates on the Backstreet Boys tour.
The Glee star recently released his debut solo album and revealed that he changed some of the dates of his own summer tour, so he could perform alongside the man band, whose tour will also feature New Kids on the Block.
Morrison made the announcement on Good Morning America, explaining: “This is the first time I’m going to announce this, it happened this past weekend. Things kind of changed in my tour that was scheduled.
“There are going to be some cities that are going to stay [the same] but I’m going to be joining the Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block and play in some arenas.”
Morrison’s solo tour starts on June 18 in Minnesota. The Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block tour will kick off on June 2 in Connecticut.
