Gok’s Fashion Fix Returns To Channel 4 14th April

Buy less, wear it more is fashion stylist Gok Wan’s timely new mantra for the return of this new-look series.

As the antidote to too much shopping, each week he solves the wardrobe worries of women with closets full to bursting but nothing to wear. In Penzance care-worker Dawn so and so is desperate to get it right in the fashion stakes but keeps getting it spectacularly wrong. Gok will show her how to shop for a few key items which she can wear every day of the week.

A team of larger ladies from Rotheram solve fat fashion problems by roadtesting high street ranges in sizes 16-28. This week they take the plunge and put cossies to the test for their boulder holder and bottom supporting strengths.

Plus Gok rummages through the many designer wardrobes in the designer home of Janet Street Porter. With just one item of high street clothing in her closet can he persuade the designer diva to turn to the high street for a red carpet look?

And the designer versus high street catwalk showdown takes place in the heart of Birmingham with members of the public voting for which collection they like best. Will they vote for the high end, high budget collection sourced by buyer and boutique owner Brix Smith-Start or Gok’s get the look for less high street equivalents?
