Gordon Ramsay has been named the world’s highest paid chef.

The chef who appeared on Channel 4 last night on Cookalong Live, makes £15million a year mostly because of his huge TV career in America.

Ramsay gets £157,000 an episode for the US versions of Hell’s Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares. He also has a £2million per year exclusive TV deal with Channel 4 and earns £1million for every book he releases.

Business partner and dad-in-law Chris Hutcheson told The Sun: “Next year will be stunning — everything is firing on all cylinders.

“The first £100million is the hardest bit.

“The hundreds of millions that come after that will be more interesting.”
