Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick has firmly denied rumours that he is having a gay love affair with co-star Chace Crawford.

Ed plays the womanising Chuck Bass on the US teen drama and insists that he’s not that different to Chuck in real life..

Westwick told Rolling Stone that the rumours about his and Crawford’s affair is “ridiculous”.

“It’s funny because I love this f**king dude dearly,” he said. “I would die for this f**king dude. He’s my brother. But, by God, we are so into our f**king women it’s ridiculous.

“But what are you going to do about it? Get pissed off and stay home and cry about it?”
