The snow may have been falling but Nate and Blair (aka Chace Crawford and Leighton Meester) seemed to be keeping each other cosy during Gossip Girl filming on Tuesday morning.

This behind the scenes shot shows the pair kissing in New York’s Central Park and begs the question, what happened to Blair’s aristocratic boyfriend?

On the American teen drama Blair and Nate were childhood sweethearts who split up during season one after Nate slept with Blair’s best friend Serena.

On the launch of season two we see Blair hooked up with an English Duke but obviously something goes wrong and Blair moves back to more familiar territory.
