Gossip Girl hunk Chace Crawford has revealed that he was completely starstruck when he met Kate Hudson.

Speaking to Cosmopolitan, Chace admitted that eh was completely overwhelmed when he met Kate last month.

“I met Kate Hudson at the Super Bowl,” he said. “I was like ‘Man, that’s Penny Lane from Almost Famous!’ I pulled it together though.”

The actor, admitted that he receives a lot of attention from older woman since he started his affair with a more senior lady on the hit ITV2 show.

“I’ve had some brilliant conversations with very cultured women,” he said, adding: “I feel like I’m very open to new experiences and doing things unconventionally. I think that’s allowed me to connect with a lot of different people.”
