Ed Westwick has admitted that he would love to star in a new Batman movie.

The 23-year-old actor, best known as Gossip Girl’s Chuck Bass, says that iconic figure was his ‘childhood superhero.’

“It would be a dream come true to play Batman in a big blockbuster movie,” he told Yahoo. “He was my childhood superhero.

“He’s a damn good fighter and has access to amazing gadgets, such as the utility belt and, of course, the Batmobile – I’d give my left arm just to sit in it.”

Ed certainly has the gravelly voice of Batman perfected don’t you think?
