After famously dating her Gossip Girl co-star Ed Westwick on and off for four years, it would seem that Gossip Girl star, Jessica Szohr, has moved on to another British actor, former Hollyoaks heart-throb, Ricky Whittle!

The pair, were spotted arriving at LAX airport in Los Angeles together on Thursday after flying in from San Jose, northern California, after Ricky, who now lives in LA, flew up  to San Jose to visit Jessica on the set of her latest movie The Internship, according to the Daily Mail newspaper!

After spending a few days together, the pair headed back to Los Angeles together, looking very close and attractive together, despite not showing any public displays of open affection as  they collected their bags and walked through the terminal.

Ricky, who played Calvin Valentine in the hit Channel 4 soap, and who is now Currently playing Charles in VH1s season2 of ‘Single Ladies’, has been friends with Jessica, who played Vanessa in the hit US teen drama, for some time, nut apparently grew closer at the MTV Video Music Awards earlier this month.

A friend said: “It’s early days but Ricky and Jessica have been spending quite a bit of time together and they get on really well.
‘They went to the VMAs together a couple of weeks ago and were hanging out backstage with a few friends including Taylor Swift.

“They’ve known each other for a while and always got on well, but it was just a bit of fun before.

“But now they seem to be a bit more serious about one another and they make a great couple. They’re just taking it slowly and seeing how things go.”

Ricky recently stated he was single on social networking site, twitter, however after the VMA’s mentioned Jessica in one of his tweets saying: ’Insane night at VMAs, great show,great banter from @iamjessicaszohr Ashley & the gang.’ as well as later retweeting a message that Jessica had posted on her site.

While he hasn’t been giving away any information about his lovelife in recent weeks, he did tweet on Thursday: ‘Great time in San Jose,back to LALA land .

‘Awww good to be home LALA land,good to see u right, straight into new scripts, 2 fun reads, excited!!’

Ricky has been single since spl;itting from his former Hollyoaks co-star,  Carley Stenson, who played Steph Cunningham,  last year, whilst Jessica split from Gossip Girl co-star Ed, who is from Hertfordshire, on and off for four years until earlier this year.
