In the wake of the murders, everyone is being evacuated to the marina for the last ferry off the Island, as the American murder-mystery drama continues.

Abby receives a call from Madison, telling her that if anyone leaves the Island then Madison’s captor will kill her. Back at the Candlewick, neither cell phones nor landlines are working and the power goes out. Danny and Henry attempt to start the emergency generator but fear it may be booby-trapped.

Sheriff Mills questions JD about the murders and Cole Harken. JD tells the Sheriff where Cole lives. On his way to the cabin, the Sheriff triggers a trap, releasing a wooden spike that punctures his leg. He falls and loses consciousness.

In the Island’s lock-up a deputy is yelling at JD and Shane to stop arguing. The lights go out and shots are heard. When the lights come back on, JD and Shane see the deputy lying dead on the floor. Snagging the keys, JD escapes, leaving Shane behind.

The Sheriff awakes injured and feverish in Cole’s cabin. He gives the Sheriff Wakefield’s prison journal and tells him that Wakefield has come back for Abby and that she must leave the Island. Harken heads out to get help but someone lurking in the woods has other ideas…

Jimmy and Abby arrive at the cabin in time to save the Sheriff. He begs Jimmy to take Abby off the Island but she refuses to leave. Sully shows up and tells them that JD escaped and is somewhere on the marina. They split up, and Abby discovers a mortally wounded JD…
