Heroes: Hayden Panettierre Was Bullied
Heroes star Hayden Panettiere has admitted that she was bullied as a child due to her acting career.
Hayden shot to fame in the 90s as she landed roles in soap operas One Life To Live and Guding Light, though she is more famous now for her role of Claire Bennett in Heroes.
“At school I was teased a lot because I was an actor. They used to be awful,” Panettiere explained. “I went through a big period where I was tortured at school. Absolutely ripped apart.
“It was very hard for me but I think it made me a stronger person and I’m glad that it happened.”
