Heroes star, Milo Ventimiglia, has revealed that he was glad when various Hollywood award ceremonies were called off during this years writers strike.
Milo told MSN: “I got to be honest - I don’t favour being on a carpet. I’m a shy guy, so to get out and be a part of the award circuits is work. But I do enjoy myself, I have a nice time, particularly standing with my cast-mates.”
But Milo was honoured to be able to collect the shows BAFTA award at the London Palladium this week.
He said: “I feel very honoured Heroes won. And in the company of great shows, not only in my category, but other categories. And to be a part of something that is so prestigious for British culture.
“It’s nice, obviously. As an award I think it’s as important as Golden Globe or an Academy award.”
