Heroes Premiere Draws More Than 4 Million To BBC Two

Hit US Sci-Fi series Heroes, launched last night on BBC Two. Anyone who listened to Radio One at all yesterday couldn’t have helped but be aware of the show. In truth though, I have to admit, it lived up to all the hype.

The show’s premiere drew 4.3 million viewers to BBC Two last night, and was narrowly beaten by ITV’s Wire In The Blood.

The BBC reports:

The second series is due to premiere in the US in September, with a set of spin-offs called Heroes: Origins also set to be broadcast.

Heroes follows the story of a group of ordinary people with superhuman abilities who are brought together to prevent a catastrophe.
