Hit Sci-Fi TV show, Heroes is due to get its very own spin off show next month.

The show will include brand new characters, but will also give viewers the chance to vote for thier favourite Heroes: Origins character who will then join the cast of the new show.

Kevin Smith, the man behind Clerks and Jay And Silent Bob, has signed up to write and direct an episode.

“I just don’t want to be the guy who ruins Heroes,” he joked.

Meanwhile, Adrian Pasdar – who plays ambitious airborne politico Nathan Petrelli – says that each of the heroes is set for a thrilling storyline in Origins.

“No matter who your favourite character is, the things that are going to happen in this season will be exciting to the point of being numbing for fans,” he said.
