Hidden Palms On Sky One This October

FROM THE CREATOR OF DAWSON’S CREEK COMES A NEW AMERICAN DRAMA SET IN THE GLAMOROUS, MYSTERIOUS WORLD OF PALM SPRINGS WHERE NOTHING IS WHAT IT SEEMS…

Johnny Miller (Taylor Handley, The OC) was a happy, well-adjusted teenager with good grades and a roomful of sports trophies until the terrible night a year ago when his father committed suicide. Following a breakdown and period in rehab, Johnny now lives in the surreal, sun-drenched city of Palm Springs with his mother Karen (Gail O’Grady) and her new husband Bob (D.W.Moffett).

On the outside Palm Springs is a shimmering paradise of resorts, swimming pools, golf courses and country clubs. But as Johnny learns the secrets that lie just beneath the surface, he and his family are forced to ask the question: how well do you really know the people who live next door? Hidden Palms launches on Thursday 4th October at 8pm on Sky One and will be shown as 4 x 2 hour episodes.

As his mother & step father begin to make friends with the other parents of Palm Springs, Johnny is stunned to discover the teenage boy who used to live in his room died in mysterious circumstances - but how? And why is no one prepared to talk about Eddie and his death? From the confident, brash Cliff (Michael Cassidy, The OC), to the beautiful, emotional Greta (Amber Heard, All the Boys Love Mandy Lane, Alpha Dog) Johnny is spun round in circles. Across the street, computer science whizz Liza (Ellary Porterfield) appears to have some answers, but can she be trusted? And when Johnny’s friend from rehab, Nikki (Tessa Thompson, Veronica Mars), turns up needing help, his life is about to get even more complicated…

Written and produced by the king of teen dramas Kevin Williamson (Dawson’s Creek, I Know What You Did Last Summer, Scream) Hidden Palms is an absorbing, intriguing mystery full of drama, wit and suspense, completed by a gorgeous cast of new, exciting talent, and established stars.
