On tonight’s Holby City, Linden is distraught to discover graffiti on his wife’s grave, as the medical drama series continues. His day doesn’t get any better when he goes on to shout at Maddy and then loses a patient in theatre.

Still in hospital care, Jac is curious as to what happened in South Africa. Joseph tells her that he and Faye got engaged, but that no one knows. Jac continues to dig for information but is suddenly rushed into theatre with pneumothorax, a dangerous lung condition.

Later, Elliot is shocked to discover from Michael that Lady Byrne has resigned from the charity and gone on a world cruise. Clearly upset by the news, he also resigns from the foundation, leaving Connie and Michael to take over.
