Holby City actress Tina Hobley has revealed, that the writers of the show will incorporate her real life pregnancy into the storylines of the BBC medical drama.

Hobley, who plays nurse Chrissie Williams in the show is currently expecting her third child and said:

Either way, I’ll be having two labours about the same time! I’ll take three months off after to get my head round being a mum-of-three

“I only found out three weeks ago and it’s very early – I’m just three months – but it’s so exciting. I’ve just told the scriptwriters so they’re writing it into the storyline as we speak. They’ll have to bring in someone new to impregnate my character.”

She added:

“It’ll have to be a quick on-screen pregnancy for Chrissie or she’ll have it prematurely. Either way, I’ll be having two labours about the same time! I’ll take three months off after to get my head round being a mum-of-three.”
