Things have been a bit quiet on Hollyoaks recently, so the writers thought a bomb storyline might shake things up a little!

A bomb will go off outside local nightclub, The Loft, and Nancy Dean will be caught up in the blast. Louise Summers will then receive a call telling her another bomb has been set in the village, and Warren soon discovers it in the bottom of baby Charlie’s pram. I wonder if either will survive?

A show insider told The Daily Star: “It’s the first time that all the villagers have been rocked by the same set of events.

“No-one has a clue why they are coming under attack and who is responsible. It’s a nervous time because they don’t have a clue if there will be another bomb, or where it might be.

“They are constantly looking over their shoulders, and the finger-pointing starts as old rivalries come to the surface.
“But they will be shocked when they discover exactly who the bomber is.”
