The Daily Star has revealed that Hollyoaks bosses “will spring a double shock on fans this autumn by bringing back two old characters.”

The report goes on to add, “We can reveal that producers plan to spice up the hit Channel 4 soap and have called on a couple of old faces to return to the village.

“Some names in the mix are Gemma Atkinson, 24 (Lisa Hunter), Kevin Sacre, 31 (Jake Dean), Will Mellor, 33 (Jambo), Davinia Taylor, 31 (Jude Cunningham) and Marc Silcock, 20 (Eli).”

A source close to the Hollyoaks set told the paper, “The return of two old characters is massive for us.

“Everyone is extremely excited about what their return means and the impact it is going to have.

“It’s going to be a blockbuster few months for the show.”
