Hollyoaks cast pictured filming Lynsey’s funeral in bright colours!
We reported last week how Hollyoaks had cast a brother for the recently murdered, Lynsey Nolan and speculation began regarding whether this meant that a funeral for the tragic nurse would finally take place!
Fans of the award-winning Channel 4 soap will know how Lynsey (Karen Hassan) was murdered in a shocking and surprise storyline which sparked a huge who-dunnit storyline, spanning months!
Now, with Lynsey’s murderer safely behind bars, her body has been released and from pictures in today’s Daily Mail newspaper, a funeral is definitely on the cards!
The pictures, which were snapped yesterday, show the cast assembled to film the emotional scenes which will see Lynsey finally laid to rest, but rather than the typical mourning colour, black, Lynsey’s best friend, Cheryl (Bronagh Waugh) is seen wearing a bright red jacket with brightly coloured floral print dress, whilst laughing and joking between takes!
Fans of the show will know how Cheryl is renowned for her loud and colourful taste in clothes, but we think that this outfit is a tad inappropriate for such a sorrowful occasion, especially as the rest of the cast wore traditional black to the event.
Also captured in the emotional pictures is Carmel Valentine (Gemma Merna), Myra McQueen (Nicole Barber-Lane) Nancy Osbourne (Jessica Fox), all dressed respectfully in black outfits, as well as crew moving a coffin into the church.
Also dressed appropriately for the occasion in black from head to toe was Emmett J. Scanlan to play his character, Brendan Brady’s part in the moving scenes burying the girl he considered a little sister.
Hollyoaks can be seen weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4/ Channel 4 HD.
