Hollyoaks actress Claire Cooper has assured her fans that she will strip off for a magazine shoot.

Claire plays Jacqui McQueen in the Channel 4 soap, and told The Sun:

I’d never do glamour modelling. It’s not my route, no thank you. You couldn’t pay me!

It’s not my background, it’s not where I’ve come from, it’s not my passion.

I’ve done an acting degree, my passion is acting, not glamour modelling. It’s a completely different avenue.

But hats off to those girls who go and do it but it’s not for me.

Claire also revealed how her co-star Gemma Merna, has asked her and Jennifer Metcalfe (Mercedes), Nicole Barber-Lane (Myra) and Leah Hackett (who used to play Tina), to be her bridesmaids when she marries her fiance Ian Minton.

Claire said: “I’m chuffed to bits, it’s really nice to be asked. We get on like sisters, we are all really close. It’s going to be fantastic, Gemma will make it a beautiful day.”
