Former Corrie star, Nikki Sanderson, is set to join the Chester cast of Hollyoaks in November!

Nikki, who Coronation Street fans will know as Candice in the hit ITV soap, will play flirty Maxine Minniver, sister of current escaped prisoner, Mitzeee (Rachel Shenton).

Nikki was last seen on our Coronation Street screens, heading off on tour as personal hair stylist to 80′s rock group, Status Quo, after they performed at the wedding of Les and Cilla Battersby.

However, won’t mimic an episode of Lost Families when Maxine turns up, as Mitzeee is far from happy to see the return of her feisty sister back in her life, and according to the Sun newspaper, you can expect to see more than their fair share of sibling rivalry engulf the pair, as they both compete not to be in the others shadow!

“Being a member of the Hollyoaks team has so far been an absolute pleasure,” says Nikki, who has starred in Heartbeat, Holby City and New Street Law since leaving the cobbles of Weatherfield. “I am excited about what the future holds for my character.”

Fans can see Nikki’s Hollyoaks debut on Monday 5 November on E4.
