Hollyoaks beauty, Jennifer Metcalfe, plans on getting over her relationship with Dancing On Ice star, Sylvain Longchambon, by moving to Hollywood.
Jennifer and Sylvain became a couple when they were partnered together during the 2010 series of the hit ITV skating talent show, Dancing On Ice.
However, after two seemingly happy years together, during which they moved into a house together, French International skater, Sylvain chose Christmas time last year to tell Jennifer that he was ending their relationship after developing feelings for his current Dancing On Ice partner, Coronation Street star Samia Ghadie.
Whilst sources close to both Sylvain and Samia deny that the two are an item yet, Sylvain has been spotted moving his things out his Liverpool pad that he shared with Jennifer last week and has moved into a house that some of the professional skaters are living in whilst the competition is taking place, which happens to be just up the road from the hotel than Manchester lass Samia is staying in.
“Sylvain is staying with the other dancers,” a source told The Sun. “But he’s not far from Samia as she is staying at the Holiday Inn just up the road.”
Jennifer was left heartbroken by this betrayal, and many stories began circulating about her getting revenge by turning up to watch them skate on the show’s opening night, or that she was planning to confront Samia at next week’s National Television Awards, but it seems that her real plan for revenge is to become even more successful than she already is, and that means moving to Hollywood!
A friend close to the Hollyoaks actress, who plays Mercedes McQueen in the award-winning Channel 4 soap, has revealed to the Daily Star newspaper that Jen is fed up with all the negative headlines her personal life has generated lately and thinks the best thing to do would be to concentrate on furthering her career, which a stateside trip might help.
“She has always had this American dream and an ambition to go to the States,” said the pal. “She knows it’s going to be tough but her old cast mates Emma Rigby and Ricky Whittle have managed to do it. They’ve said they will introduce her to the right people.
“Jen wants to push the boundaries and see where it takes her. She knows the best way to get back at someone is to be a success and that’s what she plans to do.”
Earlier this month Jennifer pulled out of new ITV show Splash because she didn’t want people to think she was competing with Samia.
