Hollyoaks: Jennifer Metcalfe meets new fella, Geordie Shore star Greg Lake’s parents!

by Anna Howell

Heart-broken Hollyoaks babe, Jennifer Metcalfe, is showing ex Sylvain Longchambon that he couldn’t be further from her thoughts as she steps up her new relationship with Geordie Shore star Greg Lake, by meeting his parents!

Jennifer’s love life made headlines over Christmas when her long term partner, Dancing On Ice professional skater Sylvain, ended their two year relationship by phone from France revealing that he had developed feelings for his current Dancing On Ice partner, Coronation Street star, Samia Ghadie.

Jennifer, who plays feisty Mercedes McQueen in the hit Channel 4 soap, Hollyoaks, met Sylvain whilst taking part in the same competition back in 2011. The pair fell in love and set up home together in Liverpool and seemed as happy as ever until Sylvain broke the heart-breaking news to her, cowardly over the phone.

Since then many rumours have been circulating about Jennifer’s plans to seek revenge on the pair, as well as the relationship status between Sylvain and Samia, who also dumped her long term partner, former Corrie co-star, Will Thorpe, who she left her husband for two years ago.

However, as we reported last month, Jennifer soon discovered the best form of revenge was to show Longchambon precisely what he was missing, by moving on and starting a new relationship with Geordie Shore star Greg.

A source close to the Hollyoaks star said at the time:

“They’ve known each other for over a year after meeting at different celeb parties.

“I think the spark was always there — but when Jen was with Sylvain obviously they never acted on it.

“It was about a week ago that they made it official.

“They’ve been going for romantic meals almost every night and Jen has been staying over at Greg’s.”

And now it seems that things have got really serious between the incredibly attractive pair as the Sun newspaper today reports how Jen and Greg were accompanied to dinner by Greg’s parents Fat Buddah in Newcastle.

Good for them!
