Hollyoaks bosses have shelled out mega bucks to keep sexy Jennifer Metcalfe.

The Daily Star reports that Jennifer, who plays Mercedes McQueen held out after her on screen sisters Gemma Merna and Claire Cooper signed up for another year.

Metcalfe told the newspaper: “I’ve literally just signed a new contract, so I’m staying put.

“Hopefully they’ll come up with lots more juicy stuff for Mercedes. I do love her even if she is a bit tacky.

“They want to keep all the McQueen sisters in the show for the same amount of time. So now that I’ve signed it means we’re all be in it together for at least a year.”
