Hollyoaks Jonny Clarke (Bart McQueen) reveals pop star dream!
Hollyoaks favourite, Jonny Clarke, who plays Bart McQueen in the hit Channel 4 soap, has revealed that he would love to pursue a career in singing as well as acting.
Speaking to Inside Soap magazine, Clarke, who’s most recent storyline saw him almost sent to prison for growing cannabis, revealed his ambition as well as specifying his particular genre of music stardom as rock, should his acting career not work out.
“I’d quite fancy being an indie rocker. If the acting stuff all goes to pot, I’d like to sing,”
“It would be dead fun to do it with my mates and go on tour, even if it was just for pub gigs.”
The young actor then went on to discuss his hopes for future storylines in Hollyoaks, in particular expressing a desire for Bart’s dad to return, as well as expressing a wish for Boardwalk Empire’s Stephen Graham to be cast in the role.
“That’s something I would really, really like to happen, and to get someone like Stephen Graham would be amazing,” he said.
“I think it would be very realistic if he were Bart’s dad. He’s an amazing actor, so fingers crossed!”
