Hollyoaks stars Jorgie Porter and Rob Norbury have each revealed their future ambitions, and for Jorgie, she’d love to play the role of an “evil” character.

Jorgie, who of course plays Theresa McQueen in Hollyoaks, told the PA, “I’ve not got any ideas of going anywhere else and no one’s asked me to do anything else.

“You never know what’s going to happen. Theresa can’t get away with being a murderer forever.

“I’d love to just play somebody completely different like in an insane asylum or on Downton Abbey, just somewhere completely different, with a different accent.

“I’d love to do something evil. That would be fantastic.”

Meanwhile, her co-star, Rob Norbury – who of course plays Riley Costello – has revealed that he’d love a role on Corrie, and preferably one that would see him being Tina McIntyre’s new fella!

As Corrie fans will know, Tina is about to embark on a relationship with Street heartthrob Tommy Duckworth, who’s played by former Hollyoaks star Chris Fountain…

And it seems Rob is rather jealous that Chris gets to play out a romance with Michelle Keegan, who plays Tina.

Speaking to Inside Soap, Rob said, “As long as I got to have a hot girlfriend on screen [in Coronation Street] I probably wouldn’t mind who I played!

“I’ve enjoyed watching Chris as Tommy in Coronation Street. He’s been really great in the role – and as well as doing a brilliant job, he gets to be with Tina!”

I think that could be quite interesting in terms of soapy crossovers! Having Rob arrive as a love rival for Tommy, and maybe Jorgie could turn up as a previously unknown victim of Frank Foster’s, who’ll murder him!
