As fans of Hollyoaks will doubtless know, a new series of Hollyoaks Later is headed to our E4 screens next week, and ahead of it, we have key pictures from all five episodes as well as a bunch of spoilers!

The week of HL shows are an absolute don’t miss as some of our Chester faves, such as Brendan and Mitzeee find themselves facing life or death situations!

Here’s a run down of each episode…

Episode one airs on Monday, September 17 and will see Brendan finding Joel getting a beating, while Mitzeee is stranded in a forest while handcuffed to her cellmate Lauren!

Also, Cheryl hears that Nana Flo doesn’t have long to live, while wide boys Jono, Bart and Neil head to Amsterdam for their lads’ only hols.

Episode two, which airs on Tuesday, September 18, sees Brendan – who has badly beaten Joel in his car – frantically searching the streets of Southport for Joel’s step-dad, Mick.

Meanwhile, Mick has Joel’s phone and when Theresa sends a text, he finds out where she is and accidentally on purpose bumps into her as well as Cheryl and Nana Flo. Mick then sends a photo of himself with the girls to Brendan, so that he and Joel know the women are in serious danger.

Elsewhere, Mitzeee tries to pluck up the courage to slit Lauren’s throat while she sleeps, but, oh bless, she can’t do it. However, could things be about to take a turn for the very sinister when Lauren opens her eyes and looks directly at Mitzeee?

Over in Amsterdam, Lola and Bart are getting closer and Neil has a rather bizarre encounter with hip-hop star, Lethal Bizzle.

In episode three, which airs on Wednesday, September 19, a freaked out Joel has locked himself in the bathroom, and it would seem that only Brendan can talk him out.

Meanwhile, outside, Walker hears a noise coming from the boot of car…

Could Mick still be alive? And what will Walker do either way?!

Back in Amsterdam, as the boys play “dare” games, Bart ends up stoned out of his face on a space cake, and later, back at Lola’s, she sends Jono out for pizza, but as he’s about to leave, he turns around and sees his best mate and his new girlfriend snogging!

Elsewhere, Nancy is dragged into the Lauren and Mitzeee mess after Lauren reckons Nancy’s perfect as a getaway driver.

Episode four, which airs on Thursday, September 20, sees panic and chaos as the police turn up at the motel. And while Brendan is cooler than a polar bear’s nuts, Joel’s panicked and Theresa urges him to make a run for it.

Over in Amsterdam, Jono’s gone into self-destruct mode after Bart and Lola’s betrayal, but Bart, who’s blissfully happy with Lola, seems to have forgotten about Sinead back home.

With Mitzeee, Lauren and Nancy, the trio arrive at the barracks to try and reunite Lauren and Raymond. In order to do so, Nancy pretends to be Raymond’s sister, and it works! So the reunited couple get passionate, which is clearly not what Mitzeee wants while handcuffed to Lauren.

In episode five, on Friday, September 21, Brendan finally locates Cheryl in hospital, where she’s with Nana Flo. She is of course distraught, and more than a tad frightened of her brother after what she witnessed.

Brendan tries to talk her round and reassure her, but their talks are interrupted by Nana Flo who’s woken up to demand they get her out of the hospital.

Later, when they arrive at the holiday home on the beach, it quickly becomes clear that the place doesn’t have good associations for Brendan, and when he heads upstairs, he takes his fury out on a gas fireplace, not noticing that the gas pipe has broken and is releasing gas!

So it’s not long before a massive explosion rocks the holiday home, sending Brendan, Cheryl and Walker flying. Cheryl wakes first, but unable to move, she’s frantic when she sees a pool of blood forming round Brendan’s head. Is the Chester bad boy dead?

Meanwhile, Lauren, Nancy and Mitzeee manage to get Mitzeee alone with Riley, but when Mercy turns up, a hostage develops as Lauren holds them all up in the flat until Mercy confesses to her lies. And to help her along, Mitzeee decides to take a knife to Mercy’s throat, but will she stab her for real this time?

Over in Amsterdam, Bart – who’s still baked – ends up in peril as he takes bath! We see just how much danger he’s put himself in when Jono returns to Lola’s and finds his friend submerged. Panicking, he drags Bart’s lifeless body out of the water, but is he too late?
