Hollyoaks hottie, Mercedes McQueen is heading for her second wedding according to the Daily Star.

In the Channel 4 soap, Mercedes has just found out that her boyfriend Malachy may have passed on the HIV virus to her, but after she sticks by him he drops down on one knee and pops the question.

However Jennifer Metcalfe who plays Mercedes on the Channel 4 show has revealed that she prefers Merc as a single girl causing trouble everywhere she goes!

She told The Daily Star: “I think Mercedes is better when she is on her own causing as much chaos as she possibly can.

“I can’t see her settling down for very long. She’ll get itchy feet and then it will be on to the next adventure.

“Although I think the HIV scare may put her off sleeping with loads of men, it may cure her sex addiction.”
