You have to feel sorry for Hollyoaks character Mitzeee Minniver (Rachel Shenton) don’t you? Because not only has nutty as squirrel poo Mercedes been hounding her, she also stabbed herself in the stomach and then accused Mitzeee of having done it!

Which has of course meant that Mitzeeee – who was unfortunately spark out at the time Mercedes (Jennifer Metcalfe) stabbed herself – is now languishing in a jail cell, and in a forthcoming episode, she’s going to lose the plot and lash out at her cellmate…

Which is going to make her wonder if – as she seems prone to violence – she did in fact stab Mercy and has just blocked it out!

Of the plotline, which we’ll see a week today, a show insider told the Daily Star, “Mitzeee is going through a tough ordeal inside. She’s not coping, so when her cellmate decides to wind her up she flips…

“Obviously, viewers know the truth but who knows what twists and turns are ahead for this trio.

“Mitzeee might convince herself so much that she actually confesses to a crime she didn’t do.

“Mercedes was convinced that once she got Mitzeee out of the way she’d have Riley all to herself.

“But like most things in the village, things don’t go to plan and she’s going to be left out in the cold by the footballer.”
