Hollyoaks’s Esther Bloom is set to be left wracked with guilt after an argument with her step-grandfather, Jack Osbourne, results in him collapsing!

To make matters worse, the youngster leaves before it happens, and it is hours before anyone finds the landlord of the Dog in the Pond, making his health situation critical, according to the Daily Star newspaper.

Jack (Jimmy McKenna) discovers Esther (Jazmine Franks) has not been going to college like she should, and confronts her.  After an angry row, the girl storms off causing Jack to collapse to the ground after suffering a heart attack.  He is found by son, Darren (Ashley Taylor-Dawson) who rushes him to hospital, where he is told that things aren’t looking good for his father!

When Darren finds out about the row, he blames Esther for his father’s condition, leaving the troubled teen feeling incredibly guilty.

A Hollyoaks insider said: “Jack is angry when he discovers Esther has been skiving from college.

“Esther is in no mood to be lectured and storms out, unaware of the critical situation she’s left behind.

“Doctors tell Jack’s family that it’s touch and go. It’s going to be a very emotional and tense time for the Osbornes.”
