Since their illicit kiss a few weeks ago, fans of Hollyoaks knew it wouldn’t be long before Ally Gorman and teenager Lacey Kane would end up in bed together, but they get much more than they bargained for when Lacey’s mum, Martha, storms over to stop it from happening.
Fans of the hit Channel 4 soap will know how manipulative Ally Gorman (Dan O’Connor) has been giving easily-lead Lacey (Georgia Bourke) the come on for weeks, despite being in a relationship with her older sister, Ash (Holly Weston).
Ally steamed in as head of the Kane family shortly after entering into a relationship with Ash, and has since manipulated the family into turning their backs on their alcoholic mother, Martha (Carly Norris).
Ash’s brother, Callum (Laurie Duncan) has always had his reservations about the Australian former soldier, and has even exposed his catalogue of alias’s and ex-girlfriends that he callously left broken hearted.
However, the smooth charmer has always been able to talk Ash round to believing his lies, but we have a sneaky suspicion that when his latest betrayal is exposed, she won’t be as forgiving!
Ally and Lacey shared an intimate kiss earlier this month, which Ally quickly shrugged off and made Lacey promise not to tell, but it seems that he goes back for a bit more later this month and the pair end up in bed together!
But they have a nasty surprise in store!
According to the Daily Star newspaper, Ally’s web of lies start to untangle around in him in the coming weeks, and his true colours are finally revealed when Martha decides to investigate him online using Bart McQueen’s (Johnny Clarke) laptop. Knowing that she may find something bad, she could have hardly prepared herself for what she discovers – Ally is actually dead!
Martha comes across a memorial page for the real Ally, who was indeed a soldier, meaning that Ally has been using a dead man’s identity all along!
Martha shares her findings with the rest of the McQueen’s, were a horrified Phoebe (Mandip Gill) reveals that Lacey is intending to sleep with the imposter, sending Martha frantically racing over to her family’s home.
Meanwhile, back at the house, Lacey is all set to lose her virginity to her sister’s boyfriend when Martha and Phoebe come crashing into the room, just in the nick of time.
Martha furiously drags Ally off her daughter, before launching a violent attack on him. And his punishment does not stop there as Ash and Callum turn up and witness the scene too.
Does this mean that the game is finally up for Ally? Dan O’Connor, who plays the creepy Australian, has been spotted on his leaving do with the rest of the cast, so it looks likely that Ash gives him his marching orders after this latest episode – we just hope she gets the truth behind it all out of him before he leaves Hollyoaks for good!
This is the latest in a long line of questionable moments in Ally’s Hollyoaks residency, watch him being interrogated for the murder of Lynsey Nolan after she discovered that there was something going on between him and Walker (Neil Newbon) in the clip below:
Hollyoaks can be seen week nights at 6.30pm on Channel 4/ Channel 4 HD.
