It would seem that after her participation as getaway driver in last week’s Hollyoaks Later, the drama is far from over for Nancy Osbourne in Hollyoaks.

Fans of the show will know how pregnant Nancy (Jessica Fox) was made to drive best friend Mitzeee (Rachel Shenton) and the prisoner, Lauren, she was handcuffed to as they made a break from prison.

The popular late night spin-off series ended with Lauren returning to prison, but Mitzeee, who has now remembered that she did not stab Mercedes (Jennifer Metcalfe), after threatening to do it again before leaving her tied, with the love of both their lives, Riley (Rob Norbury) to a chair and making a dash for it.

When things pick up again in the regular show this week, it seems that Mitzeee relies on Nancy for more help, but whilst doing so, Nancy ends up going into premature labour after experiencing agonising stomach cramps, fourteen weeks before her due date, according to the Daily Star newspaper.

She reasons that everything is fine and carries on, but then later collapses, forcing Mitzeee to phone an ambulance, where the pair are rushed to hospital and Nancy informed that she is in labour!

Nancy’s husband, Darren (Ashley Taylor-Dawson) rushes to be by his wife’s side, forcing Mitzeee to flee before her cover is blown.

An insider said: “The entire Osborne clan are frantic with worry and are told to prepare for the worst.”

Viewers will know how Nancy, who is currently 26 weeks pregnant, suffered a miscarriage in similar circumstances earlier this year, so will be in utter turmoil at the prospect of losing another baby, especially one so near to term.
