Hollyoaks master manipulator, Will Savage, is up to his usual tricks in an upcoming storyline when he orchestrates it for his brother, Dodger, to find out that he is involved with his ex-girlfriend, Texas!
Fans of the hit Channel 4 soap will know how Will (James Atherton) has managed to get Texas Longford (Bianca Hendrickse-Spendlove) to enter in to a relationship with him after making her believe that she paralysed him by pushing him down the stairs outside Chez Chez.
Of course viewers know that Will actually threw himself down to gain forgiveness from his family after exposing his one night stand with Texas, who had been going out with his brother, Dodger (Danny Mac) at the time.
Things didn’t go quite according to plan for Will as he was told that as a result of the fall he would never walk again, making his objectives change somewhat.
Originally just wanting to split up Texas and Dodger Will decided that now he doesn’t stand much of a chance with anyone else he would claim Texas for himself and has, ever since, taken her on one of the most manipulative emotional blackmail rides ever known.
Now that she has finally agreed to be his girlfriend, though we can all see she doesn’t want to be, Will decides that it is time that he and Texas went public with their relationship. Texas, however, does not agree.
Texas, for once, puts her foot down with Will, which prompts him to take matters into his own hands, and sets a trap for Dodger to walk right in on the pair of them kissing.
Dodger looks truly gutted to witness his brother and the love of his life engaged in a loving embrace, but also smells a rat so confronts Texas to find out if she is just humouring Will out of guilt. The answer is pretty obvious, but Texas continues to hold her front, insisting to Dodger, who she secretly still loves too, that she really does love Will now.
Smug as ever Will decides this particular cream cake needs a cherry on top and proposes to Texas, which of course she accepts, leaving Dodger broken hearted.
This story is set to get even more intense when, on the day of her wedding, Texas is pushed to her death from a window in Hollyoaks major who-dunnit storyline of the year (read original article here).
