As we previously reported, Dodger Savage is about to engage in a brief encounter with one of his ex’s, but now it has also been revealed that he is also about to have contact from another one as someone sends him an email supposedly from Texas!
Dodger (Danny Mac) has spent the last year or so floating totally unaware of his own life or feelings as he helplessly watched the love of his life, Texas Longford (Bianca Hendrickse-Spendlove) marry, and then be killed by his own brother, Will (James Atherton).
Now that Will has finally been caught and locked away for the murder, and also the murder of his and Dodger’s mother too, it’s time for the rest of the Savage family to move forward with their lives.
However forward doesn’t seem to be working for Dodger, who really hasn’t gotten over everything that has happened, so instead looks back and ends up in bed with a girl from his past.
The identity of his fling is being kept closely under wraps, but the three women that Dodger has been with recently are Sandy Roscoe (Gillian Taylforth), Maxine Minniver (Nicki Sanderson) and Theresa McQueen (Jorgie Porter).
But whilst we don’t know which of these women it will be, we do know that after sleeping with her, someone sends Dodger an email pretending to be Texas, as Danny Mac, who plays Dodger, has been explaining to Soaplife:
“Seeing her name come up on the screen brings up a lot of emotions. He tries to work out who has done it and the first person who comes to mind is Will. Nobody else would need or want to do that to him.”
On the subject of who he sleeps with, Mac Coyly replied:
“I can’t tell you who it is, but I don’t think viewers will be surprised. He tries to move on by sleeping with an old flame, but it only helps for 10 minutes.
“He ends up hurting the woman and that causes him pain because he is not a bad guy.”
We can’t help but think these two incidents are related, and that whoever he sleeps with is behind the email.
If it was Theresa (who our money is on) she has already proved what she is capable of when playing the woman scorned, so much so that Dodger should thank his lucky stars that it is an email and not a poisoned pen-letter!
And then there is Maxine, who Dodger got pregnant and who then aborted his baby without him knowing, and who is also with Dodger’s father, Patrick Blake (Jeremy Sheffield), who we think would be the prime suspect in the email case, should he have found out that he had been betrayed again
On the subject of Maxine, Mac continued:
“It is funny because viewers like Dodger and Maxine together.”
