Hollyoaks Spoilers: Eamon Holmes films guest appearance on show!

by Anna Howell

This Morning Veteran, Eamon Holmes, has reportedly filmed a cameo Hollyoaks appearance!

Holmes, who is one of This Mornings co-hosts with his wife, Ruth Langsford, has reportedly already filmed the scenes, in which he joined forces with Rachel Shenton who plays Mitzeee Minniver and Sky News, yesterday.
According to Digital Spy, Shenton and the Hollyoaks crew travelled up to Sky News’ headquarters in London to film the scenes, which are expected to be of former socialite Mitzeee appearing on Holmes’s Sunrise programme.

The details of the scenes, and of Mitzeee’s appearance on the show, are being kept tightly under-wraps, but after the turbulent year that Mitzeee has just had, we doubt they will run out of things to talk about.

So far this year Mitzeee has been stalked at the hands of her lovers crazed ex , Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) who then stabbed herself and framed Mitzeee for it. Mitzeee was then sent to prison, awaiting trial for attempted murder, but whilst being transported with another prisoner, was forced by her handcuffed friend to go on the run with her in pursuit of her boyfriend who she wanted to make her pregnant during this year’s epic Hollyoaks Later series.

If that wasn’t bad enough, she then had to watch the love of her life, her second cousin Riley (Rob Norbury) die in front of her after being shot by a stray bullet fired in the violent showdown between Walker (Neil Newbon) and Brendan Brady (Emmett J. Scanlan).

Now, released from prison and starting to re-build her life with the help of her sister, Maxine (Nikki Sanderson), Mitzeee is finally starting to look to the future, and the Mitzeee we all know and love would certainly use her past experiences to get her higher up on the social standing ladder, so maybe that’s what this is all about!

We shall have to keep guessing though, as all involved are keeping completely tight-lipped about it, although they have enjoyed tweeting us hints of what is to come via social networking site, Twitter!

Holmes joked: “Just to say @RachelShenton, thank you for being a delight to work with. Do you think the audience will take to our blossoming romance plot?”

He added: “Big thanks to Hollyoaks for giving young acting talent like myself and @RachelShenton our big breaks. Valentine’s Day Special.”

Meanwhile, Shenton added to the mystery by tweeting: “What is mitzeee doing with @eamonnholmes?”

Whatever could it all mean? We shall have to wait till next year when these scenes air to find out. In the meantime, watch a clip of Mitzeee in action in the clip below:

Hollyoaks can be seen week nights at 6.30pm on Channel 4/ Channel 4 HD.
