Trevor Royle could be set to pay the ultimate price for turning down a new business venture in Hollyoaks next week, as Grace is attacked, and left for dead – But is she?
Fans of the hit Channel 4 soap will know how Trevor (Greg Wood) currently has a rather nice little set up for his drug smuggling enterprise – Using bottles of wine hidden at local restaurant The Hutch to stash the goods.
But he is far from the only dodgy dealer in the village and next week he is confronted by his boss Fraser’s arch nemesis, Ray, to be cut in on the deal.
Trevor of course is not interested, especially given how much it would upset Fraser (Jesse Birdsall) so politely (well, as politely as someone like him can manage) refuses the offer.
But Ray is not taking no for an answer and, as our pictures show, makes that very clear indeed.
Anyone who knows Trevor will know that his only weakness is the love of his life, Grace Black (Tamara Wall), which Ray is well aware of and so tracks down the female boss as she lays flowers on her dead sister’s grave.
Trevor gets wind of what is about to happen and rushes over to the cemetery only to find Grace face down on the floor, covered in blood and lifeless!
Greg Wood, the actor who plays Trevor, has been describing the scene in a recent interview with Inside Soap magazine, in which he says:
“Trevor gets to the cemetery to find Grace pummelled, and he’s distraught,
“He fears she’s dead – she’s just lying there in a mess, and he’s beside himself. He’s never had these kind of feelings for somebody before.”
Whilst we can’t give away what happens to Grace we can tell you that the incident affects Trevor so much that he decides to leave the business for good, and puts in a bid to buy the florist, with a view to turning it into a legitimate tropical fish shop.
However, when Ray gets wind of this he turns up at the shop and mocks Trevor, who nearly bites through his own lip to stop himself from reverting back to old ways.
He is doing well, too, until Fraser turns up and seeing Trevor’s restraint realises this is the perfect opportunity to get him back on board so tells him that it was Ray who killed his father.
Will Trevor be able to hold himself back? And is Grace dead or alive?
