We were beginning to lose hope that Will Savage would ever be discovered for his stalker-like ways when it comes to his forced fiancée, Texas Longford in Hollyoaks, but it would seem that the cat is finally about to be let out he bag – or is it?
Fans of the hit Channel 4 soap will know how Will (James Atherton) has been manipulating Texas (Bianca Hendrickse-Spendlove) into being with him ever since he slept with her behind his brother Dodger’s (Danny Mac) back.
After outing their one-night-stand in front of all their friends and family, Will then deliberately threw himself down the stairs outside Chez Chez, letting Texas believe it was her fault.
Since then he has used his silence with the police as a tool in a wicked emotional blackmail game which has seen him manage to get Texas to agree to marry him, whilst fitting her with hidden cameras and documenting her every move without her knowledge.
Many were surprised about the pairing, let alone the engagement, so we were all hoping that the news that Texas’ best friend, Leanne (Jessica Forrest) was about to discover Will’s stalker handbook and shoebox full of CCTV footage and DVD recordings of Texas, would finally bring an end to this situation.
But alas, this is not the case, not surprising really as Texas is set to plummet to her death from a window on her wedding day in a huge Who-Dunnit murder mystery next month.
However, in the meantime, not only does Leanne fall for Will’s lies and manipulation just like her best friend, she then falls in love with him too?????
According to Inside Soap, the situation begins when Maid of Honour Leanne announces that she has managed to book Will and Texas’ wedding for four weeks’ time, and quickly sets about making the arrangements for it.
However, she is reportedly horrified when she comes across Will’s stash of CCTV DVD’s and notebooks detailing Texas every move.
Angry at the discovery, Leanne confronts Will, who manages to convince her that is only keeping tabs on Texas because he loves her so much.
Leanne falls for this hook line and sinker, but that’s not the only thing she falls for!
Wills actions, now considered deeply romantic, remind Leanne of how she felt about Lee, and comes to the conclusion that she has feelings for will too, and goes to kiss him when they find themselves alone later.
Will’s response to this kiss is, at this point, unknown, but one thing is for sure, no one involved in this storyline will get a happy ending!
