As we have previously reported the moment fans of Hollyoaks everywhere have been waiting for, the moment that Sienna Blake’s fake pregnancy is discovered, finally arrives next month, but it won’t have the conclusion they all wanted at all.
Scheming Sienna (Anna Passey) has been pretending to be pregnant for months in a bid to keep hold of Darren Osborne (Ashley Taylor Dawson) who we all know is still desperately in love with his ex Nancy (Jessica Fox).
Sienna is also very well aware of this fact and ha set about trying to eliminate Nancy all together, whilst cementing place in the family once and for all.
Having had Nancy falsely arrested for child abduction and assault, as well as exposing her pain killer addiction, Sienna then wormed her way into Darren’s bed, where she claims she got pregnant.
She didn’t, of course, but as the weeks have progressed the lie has taken hold of her so much that she now sports a fake baby bump while making sure that Darren stays as far away from her as physically possible.
Tom Cunningham is currently the only person who knows her secret, but he is not about to tell anyone as she is keeping him hostage in the basement of her late mother’s house.
But it is on a trip to see Tom that her web of lies starts to unravel….
Taking some ‘me’ time, Sienna removes her fake bump and puts it beside her as she relaxes in the house reading magazines when her twin brother Dodger (Danny Mac), who has come to the property after a dodgy light triggered a silent security alarm, walks in and sees her, and the bump, alerting him to her terrible lie.
Shocked and disgusted by his sister’s actions, Dodger runs away from the house and decides to seek advice from his and Sienna’s father, Patrick (Jeremy Sheffield).
Unfortunately his father’s idea does not sit well with Dodger morally, as Patrick tried to convince him that they should help cover for the unstable and somewhat twisted barmaid.
Taking control of the situation, Patrick tells Sienna to lie to Darren and say she has had a miscarriage, which she agrees to. Dodger is less keen at going along with the deception, especially as he considers Darren to be one of his best friends, but reluctantly agrees to go along with the story after deeming family more important.
But can he go through with it?
