With the murder of Fraser Black having been confirmed by the powers that be at Hollyoaks, fans everywhere are starting to speculate over just who might be the one to bring the gangster down, and we have a few theories of our own.
Fraser Black (Jesse Birdsall) has ruffled more feathers than a burlesque dancer since moving to the village of Hollyoaks last year.
Being the secret person behind the village’s underworld, Fraser has been revealed to have been the person who killed equally dangerous Trevor Royle’s (Greg Wood) father, as well as being the person who ordered the kill on police officer DS Trent.
Fraser has also made almost the entire Roscoe family believe that eldest son Joe (Ayden Callaghan) has left the village to start a new life with a secret girlfriend who is having his baby, whilst Freddie (Charlie Clapham) and Sinead (Stephanie Davis) know the truth, well part of it, that he was trapped inside the derelict council flats by Fraser’s daughter Grace (Tamara Wall) when they were demolished last year.
That is already an awful lot of people who have motives should certain truths be revealed, but let’s look at just one at a time!
Sinead Roscoe’s life was turned upside down when she had her baby Katy, and she was forced to turn to a life of drug dealing and prostitution to support them both, before being saved by her now husband Freddie Roscoe.
When Sinead and Freddie found out that Fraser was the man responsible for the village underworld they were forced to become part of the game and keep Fraser’s secrets from the rest of the family, in particular the one about Joe being dead.
Of course we all know that Joe isn’t dead, but at the moment that is the furthest thing from the newlyweds minds as baby Katy is due to pass away in an upcoming storyline which will see everyone turn against Sinead believing her to be the person responsible for the child’s death.
Sinead is arrested when the child is rushed to hospital but manages to get released in time to race to her bedside, but unfortunately for her Fraser is also in a rush and ends up running her off the road, resulting in her not having the chance to say goodbye.
Could this, coupled with the pressure of Fraser’s lies and her husband’s growing feelings for Joe’s fiancée Lindsey Butterfield (Sophie Austin) be enough to send Sinead over the edge and kill Fraser?
