Hollyoaks Spoilers: Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) and George Smith (Steven Roberts) to have one night stand!

by Anna Howell

As fans of Hollyoaks will know, next week is to be the last we see of Brendan Brady, but it would seem that his one-true-love Ste Hay has a funny way of dealing with his departure – by sleeping with George Roberts!

Fans of the hit Channel 4 soap will know how Ste and Brendan, or Stendan as they are affectionately known as, have finally got back together and had been enjoying a normal, honest relationship after Brendan (Emmett J Scanlan) made the decision to open up about who he was and his sexuality, and had really been making an effort to prove to Ste (Keiron Richardson) that he was a changed man for him.

However, that all began to change when Brendan’s current arch-nemesis, Walker (Neil Newbon) turned up on the scene and has been trying to systematically ruin Brendan’s life one piece at a time.

Now, as viewers are currently watching play out on screen, Brendan is due in court over false allegations of sexual assault on Walker’s wing-man, Kevin Foster (Elliott Balchin), but that is the least of his worries, as we shall see in the coming days.

As we reported earlier this week, Brendan’s house of cards is set to come crashing down when he saves his father Seamus’ (Fintan McKeown) life when he discovers him being held at gunpoint by Walker.

Walker uses the sexual abuse that Brendan suffered at the hands of Seamus growing up to try and goad him into shooting him but, when Seamus pleads with Brendan to spare his life, apologising for all he did to him as a child, Brendan refuses to kill him and the pair make a run for it.

However, later that week Seamus true colours are revealed when he admits he only said sorry to save his own skin and, when he goes to attack Brendan again, proves he doesn’t regret a single action from the past.

The situation ends up with a huge showdown involving police, snipers, guns and murder confessions which results in the departure of Brendan Brady for good, though it is unsure whether he leaves in handcuffs, or a body bag.

In wake of the dramatic departure, one person in particular is left broken hearted, and that is Ste.

However, in a very uncharacteristic way, Ste deals with his emotions rather bizarrely, by sleeping with sixth former George Smith (Steven Roberts).

According to All About Soap magazine, Ste hits the bottle hard after Brendan’s exit and when George spots him drunk outside the Dog In The Pond, he offers to take him home.

One thing leads to another and the pair spend the night together, however when Ste tells George the next morning that their one-night-stand didn’t mean anything, George is left devastated.

Sensitive George then turns to best friend Phoebe Jackson (Mandip Gull) and tells her about what happened, which she is appalled by. However a crossed wires means that she thinks it was Jon Paul McQueen (James Sutton) who took advantage of George, not Ste, and sets about teaching him a lesson by having him mugged.

Brendan Brady’s exit is due to begin playing out tonight on Channel 4 for the next two weeks, to find out what is in store click here.

Hollyoaks can be seen weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4/ Channel 4 HD.

Took advantage of George?????? Excuse me Ste was the one drunk enough that George had to help him home. Not to mention Ste was an emotional wreck. If Ste was a girl, would you still describe as her being the one who “took advantage”? Seems to me George took advantage of Ste and was upset it didn’t lead to Ste falling in love with him. I am NOT liking this one night stand thing.Especially when a character who slept with a drunk, emotionally unstable person is playing the victim.

What so we’re supposed to just forget that George is a VIRGIN and was absolutely terrified of sleeping with Ryan who was his boyfriend. Hollyoaks do some stupid stuff for storyline’s just to create the drama, if George knew Ste was drunk then he wouldn’t give up his virginity to him because he barely knows him.
