After the love-triangle of the century nearly came crashing to a dramatic conclusion in last night’s Hollyoaks the tension is set to raise even higher tonight’s episode!

For weeks we have watched, squirming, as drama teacher Danny Lomax (Stephen Billington) juggled his supposed happy marriage with wife Sam (Lizzie Roper) with his secret gay affair with colleague John Paul McQueen (James Sutton).

Few people know about this situation, but two of those who do, Finn O’Connor (Keith Rice) and Robbie Roscoe (Charlie Wernham) have made it their mission to make life as complicated as possible for the star-crossed lovers.

In last night’s episode the spiteful teenagers set John Paul up to be found naked and tied to the bannister of the Lomax stairway, only for, as you will see in tonight’s episode, Danny’s son, Ste (Keiron Richardson) to take the blame for the situation claiming that JP was his lover, not his dads.

However, Ste is less than happy with the situation and tackles John Paul in tonight’s episode, warning him away from Danny.

The situation takes a dramatic turn as the pair, whose paths have crossed more than once in the past – most recently over Brendan Brady, start to hurl abuse at each other in the street, with many a harsh word said.

The confrontation escalates into a physical fight between them, which Ziggy Roscoe (who is on his way to meet ex Ruby) tries to stop only to get an elbow in the nose for his efforts.

After the fight has calmed down, JP goes to visit Ste to apologise for his cruel remarks about Doug, and soon the pair are having a bit of a heart to heart – and you won’t believe what happens next…. The only go and kiss!

Meanwhile poor Ziggy has been helped up by Leela (Kirsty-Leigh Porter) and taken up to the Lomax house to be cleaned up, a sight which is witnessed by Ruby who, heartbroken at the apparent betrayal, heads off to the club where she finds comfort from an unlikely source (to find out what happens next to Ruby, click here!).
