Hollyoaks star Rachel Shenton has revealed that she’d love her character Mitzeee to get together with Riley Costello – who’s played by Rob Norbury – even though they are related!

As fans of the show will know, Mitzeee and Riley are distant cousins, but that fact hasn’t prevented a “spark” between them.

Speaking to Inside Soap, Rachel said of the potential for romance between Mitzeee and Riley, “I’m told that it’s legal! I think it would be more wrong if they’d actually grown up together…

“When Mitzeee arrived in the village, Riley had no idea who she was, as they’d not seen each other since they were very young.

“There’s definitely a connection between them, but I think they’re just putting their attraction to the back of their minds for now.”
