Hollyoaks Wins At The British Soap Awards!

Hollyoaks walked away the winner at last nights British Soap Awards, as it scooped six awards, compared to Corrie’s 5, Eastenders 4 and Emmerdale 2.

Chris Fountain and Emma Rigby won best actor and actress for the Channel 4 programme, with other wins including best on-screen partnership.

Villain Of The Year: JACK P SHEPHERD (Coronation Street)
Best On Screen Partnership: MATT LITTLER AND DARREN JON JEFFRIES (Hollyoaks)
Best Storyline: MAX AND STACEY’S AFFAIR (Eastenders)
Best Exit: GEMMA BISSIX (Hollyoaks)
Special Acheivment Award: TIM FEE - LINE PRODUCER ON EMMERDALE
Spectacular Scene Of The Year: CAR OFF CLIFF - HOLLYOAKS
Best Single Episode: DANIEL’S DEATH (EMMERDALE)
Lifetime Acheivment Award: LIZ DAWN (Coronation Street)
