Hollyoaks actress, Roxanne McKee has revealed that she would love a role in a period drama after leaving the soap.

Although she has no immediate plans to leave the Channel 4 show, Roxanne has spoke of her plans for the future to Celebs on Sunday.

“I just try to think positive, I want to do a period drama – I’d love to be in a bonnet and a big flouncy dress – and I’d like to do a play, because I’ve never done one before. And a film.”

Asked about how long she will stick with the show, McKee replied: “Well, I don’t think I’ll be there when I’m an old lady, but I’m contracted for a while yet. I’m still enjoying it. I will leave at some stage, though – my family and my home is in London.”
