As fans of new Channel 4 series Hotel GB will know, Kim Woodburn has already proved to be hilarious in her role as Head of Housekeeping at the hotel that’s been taken over by celebs to help unemployed trainees find work and to raise money for charity…

However, it seems that poor Kim has been struck down by a “mystery illness” but she’s being cared for by Dr Christian Jessen who is of course also taking part in the social experiment.

A show insider told TV Biz, “Kim and a crew member have both been struck down.

“There are fears for other members of the Hotel GB team and extra measures are being put in place to contain the outbreak including using antibacterial wipes on door handles and telephones.”

However, before she fell ill, Kim enjoyed some high jinks with Dr Christian, including forcing the medic to grope her boobs!

The Sun reports that Kim, who’s on Mary Portas’s team, flirted with Dr Christian – who’s on the rival team led by Gordon Ramsay – before “straddling him on a workbench as he did crunches during last night’s episode.”

The Channel 4 show, which is hosted by comedian Paddy McGuiness, airs every night this week, and of taking part in it, Paddy said, “I’ve stayed in a fair few hotels and I know good hospitality when I see it.

“The celebrities and trainees need to be on their toes.

“Whether it’s a fly in the soup, or a suspiciously curly hair in the sink, they will have to tend to our guests’ every need.”
