I know, I know. House season five hasn’t even ended in the UK yet and already I’m going on about season six.

But this is a really cool poster and the fact that Hugh Laurie posed with real live snakes makes it all the more enthralling. It’s all part of the show’s new, viral, ‘snakes on a cane‘ campaign.

EW.com report that the caduceus-inspired image was shot over the summer and on Laurie’s reaction to the pythons, executive producer Katie Jacobs said:

“I remember Hugh asking the snake wrangler if the snakes had names. He replied, ‘No, because they don’t come when you call.”
