I was watching the news on TV last night and – as well all know – it really should be entitled ‘Bad News’ because there’s so rarely anything to feel good about on it and certainly there’s hardly ever anything funny.

So, with that in mind, I decided to do a web trawl for funny news items and found lots of UK and US news bloopers, mishaps and generally funny events occurring live on air, so, if the news this morning has totally harshed your mellow – assuming a Monday morning is ever mellow – I hope this selection of clips will give you a laugh at the news for a change…

Be warned though, some of these clips contain strong swearing, sexually references and other ‘adult’ type things… and seriously p’d off TV folks!
